“也客·斡特克”与“也客薛·合扎鲁”(即亦赫·嘎扎尔)同是古代蒙古人对祖先葬地的尊称。萨满教祭词中称大地为“额秃根”(即斡特克)。可见“斡特克”和“嘎扎尔”是同义词,“斡特克”本义为女性生殖器称谓,远古时代蒙古人称大地为“斡特克”,这同汉语中称“天地”为“乾坤”的来历一样,是以“斡特克”作为原型来理解大地而产生的称谓。称大地为“斡特克”流传至今,这是蒙古族文化原型的遗迹。
