成人学员社会经验比较丰富,但多限于感性认识,只有上升为理性认识才能提高实际工作能力,以政治经济学教学为例。教师不仅要在讲课中紧密联系社会实际,启发学员联系社会现象,思考和提出问题;还应开辟社会课堂,带领学员们参观市场、企业和家庭农场,并请企业家到学校来做报告,通过开辟社会课堂,使学员了解经济改革情况,进一步消化书本知识。
