本文探讨近代中国价值迷失之缘起,作者针对思想界颇为流行的见解——将中国近代价值迷津、权威丧失归因于“五四”——进行了分析辩驳,指出不能从单纯的义理层面、而必须从社会心理层面、从社会史还原的层面加以追寻。文章分析了中国传统价值体系的结构性特征及其解体的进程,指出价值原则与物质承当背离、近代社会的新陈代谢引起的心理层面的更新以及新价值观念的潜行,是近代中国信仰解体的真正原因。
This article explores the origin of the lost value of modern China. The author’s opinion, which is quite popular in the field of thought, analyzes and refutes the loss of China’s modern value and the loss of authority attributed to the May 4th Movement. It points out that we can not start from a purely justification level, However, it must be pursued from the perspective of social psychology and from the perspective of the restoration of social history. This paper analyzes the structural characteristics of Chinese traditional value system and its process of disintegration, points out that the deviation of the principle of value from material undertaking, the update of psychological level caused by the metabolism of modern society, and the sneaking of new values are the real reasons for the dissolution of faith in modern China .
