自1987年以来,作者在Mayo诊所进行2000多例各式激光手术。根据这一背景并结合文献于1992年7月开始直观激光前列腺消蚀术(visual laser ablation of the prolate,VLAP)。本文报道作者使用这一选择性技术治疗良性前列腺增生(BPH)引起膀胱流出道梗阻的初步经验。
Since 1987, the author has performed more than 2,000 various types of laser surgery at the Mayo Clinic. Based on this background and in combination with the literature, visual laser ablation of the prolate (VLAP) began in July 1992. This article reports on the authors’ initial experience with this selective technique in treating bladder outlet obstruction caused by benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH).
