In the pre-Qin and Han dynasties, no matter how the shape was formed, the trousers were mainly worn by military personnel and lower-level laborers, while the upper rulers often wore slender robes or skirts. This phenomenon has been proved in both silk painting figures unearthed in the Han Tombs of Mawangdui and figurines, portraits and records of other tombs of the same period. From Mawangdui Han tomb painting character trousers situation, pants shape can be subdivided into four, which is very important for the study of the history of the development of pants, but also to fill the past on the Han Dynasty pants one-sided understanding.
