Thunderbolt claimed to support very high-speed transmission at the beginning of its launch, but none of its compatible drivers are capable of doing so today. We evaluated the eight newest drivers. Today, thanks to the introduction of solid state flash and the new PCle data link technology, we can quickly capture the fine data inside the computer to keep track of the processor at all times. Getting computer streaming is another challenge we face, and it’s also part of Steve Jobs’ commitment to optimization and simplification, and that’s exactly what motivated thunder and lightning. Perhaps Apple really stimulated Intel’s interface development, but overall, both contributed. In the past three years, in addition to continually tuning high-speed data ports to fit Macirtosh (and a monitor), Apple has relied on other companies for quality accessories.
