Congenital eye disease is an important issue in clinical ophthalmology. In recent years, with the study of chromosome and gene technology improvements, it was found in a considerable part of the congenital eye disease patients, and chromosomal or genetic changes. Therefore, to study the relationship between chromosomes, genes and eye diseases may provide a new way to further understand and prevent some congenital eye diseases. Now a brief summary of this information is as follows. Chromosome aberrations and eye diseases Chromosomes are chromatin structures that differentiate within the cell’s nucleus during cell division. They replicate through successive cell divisions and are passed down from generation to generation.
