近几年来,梧州市实施义务教育取得一定成绩,职业教育也得到一定发展。但实施义务教育远未达到要求,基础教育仍然十分薄弱,职业教育也存在一些急需解决的问题。为此呼吁并建议:一、把有限的教育投资重点放在切实加强基础教育上。要积极创造条件实施义务教育法,对原订的义务教育规划进行一次调整,制订切实可行措施,并通过市、县人大常委会以法律形式确定下来,下决心解决好今后几年城市小学增班和农村逐步普及初中这个突出的问题。教育是百年大计,凡扩建新城区必须要有教育的配套工程,新建的中、小学一定要合乎标准
