美学是在感性现实基础上解决人类生存的方式之一。而人类生存或存在的最基本方面，从根本上来讲就是理想和现实的关系问题。理想作为人类生存的最高目标，是人的生存的终极意义所在，因而对这一境界的追求，就必然是对人的自由全面发展的追求，但它又必须落实在人的现实存在的基础上。因此，解决理想与现实的关系，探求人类生活终极意义，这就是美学的精神。
Aesthetics is one of the ways to solve human existence on the basis of perceptual reality. The most basic aspect of human existence or existence is fundamentally the relationship between ideal and reality. Ideal as the highest goal of human existence is the ultimate meaning of human existence, so the pursuit of this state must be the pursuit of free and comprehensive development of human beings, but it must be implemented on the basis of human reality . Therefore, to solve the relationship between ideal and reality and explore the ultimate meaning of human life, this is the spirit of aesthetics.
