FESPA 2015 is moving to Cologne， Germany， where it will create a perfect platform for exhibitors to demonstrate products whilst engaging with decision makers and buyers from the print marketplace. Organised by FESPA Ltd.， the show is the world’s largest wide-format print exhibition. More than 40，000 visitors from over 125 countries will attend FESPA 2015 （May 18 to 22） to view the latest technology， equipment and consumables in digital printing， screen printing， industrial and garment decoration from the leading brands and suppliers in the global imaging industry. The fiveday event at Koelnmesse will see more than 700 exhibiting brands.
Amsterdam RAI wins venue award
Amsterdam RAI won the Best International Venue award at the eighth annual Exhibition News Awards on April 3， 2014， in London， for the second time since 2012. The Exhibition News Awards are conferred annually on businesses that make outstanding contributions to the exhibition industry and are acknowledged as the key event on the exhibition industry. Amsterdam RAI was shortlisted in the ’Best International Venue’ category， where it faced stiff competition from other nominees， including Cape Town International Convention Centre， ICS Stuttgart and Gallagher Convention Centre in South Africa. In announcing its decision， the jury commented： "We were looking for ways in which the venue has worked with organisers to deliver outstanding results for internationally focused events and invested in improving its facilities. Amsterdam RAI was a clear winner in the Best International Venue category for its standout exhibition facilities and professional approach."

As the UK Government unveils eight major new renewables projects， representing a staggering ￡12 billion of investment by 2020， market confidence is high as big brands from across the energy market invest in Ecobuild， the world’s leading event for the sustainable design， construction and energy sector. Further echoing industry positivity surrounding the government’s recent domestic RHI tariffs and Green Deal investment， Ecobuild organiser UBM Built Environment has signed up a plethora of industry leaders for the 2015 event （March 3 to 5， 2015） at the ExCeL， London.
Fairs and conventions in Munich support more than 24，000 jobs
Fairs and conventions held by Messe München secure more than 24，000 jobs， the vast majority of them in Munich， with nearly 6，000 in the rest of Bavaria. Exhibitors and visitors to the tradeshows a n n u a l l y g e n e r a t e Germany-wide aggregate sales of approximately 2.63 billion euros， passing on around 490 million euros to the treasury. These are the results of a current survey conducted by the Munich Ifo Institute. The economics researchers wanted to know what benefit fairs and conventions have for Munich， Bavaria and Germany. According to Messe München boss Klaus Dittrich， every euro spent at Messe München generates 6 euros of purchasing power directly and about 11 euros indirectly in Germany.
