小学开设“趣味数学课”是数学教学改革的一种尝试,也是丰富第二课堂内容的一个方面。这对于激发小学生学习数学的兴趣,拓宽小学生的数学知识面,培养和发展小学生的数学思维是有好处的。但是,从我所听的课来看,较普遍的问题是趣味性不浓,和平常的数学习题课大同小异。同时也感到有些问题急需从理论上明确,在实践中解决。如“趣味数学课”开设的目的、教学的任务究竟是什么?这种课的内容如何根据小学各年级的要求系统化、序列化?目前因为缺乏教材,数学教师常凭自己的主观爱好,任意选摘一点材料来上趣味数学课,也有的教师因为工作忙,来不及找寻材料,干脆让学生做书上的习题,无形之中加重了学生的学习负担。应妥善地解决这个问题。
