广州美术馆建筑造型为水中盛放的英雄花,采用钢管混凝土框架+钢筋混凝土框架-钢筋混凝土核心筒组合结构体系。通过方案对比,合理地选择4个核心筒的剪力墙布置,既保证其作为主要抗侧力构件的作用,又避免其刚度过大而导致地震作用下受拉严重的问题。为节省投资,根据建筑造型与结构柱网分布,分区域地采用了钢筋混凝土梁板和钢梁-压型钢板组合楼板两种楼盖体系,同时针对大跨度钢梁也采用了先铰接后刚接的构造措施,让钢梁支座与跨中均能充分发挥其受力性能。由于建筑层高限制,5层以上的办公区域采用局部设置斜腹杆的跨层空腹钢桁架结构。为配合建筑造型和使用功能,采用了新型的变截面钢管混凝土柱和梁柱节点。
