The Rimini Fiera Group wants to increase its revenue to around 86 million euros by 2016 and generate an EBITDA of more than 17.5 million euros. For the current year, the company expects sales of nearly 68 million euros, next year it should exceed 76.5 million euros. These targets are to be met by leveraging synergies and consolidating business. The Italians also want to invest in research and development and in making their business more international. They are planning a series of spin-offs of their traditional fairs. New events are mainly to be realised through takeovers.

Germany’s intralogistics industry enjoyed another strong year in 2013, with sales rising three percent to 19.7 billion euros. Forecasts point to similar growth for the current year, which would see the industry once again outperforming Germany’s overall economy. From 19 to 23 May, the world’s top providers of intralogistics solutions will be showcasing the current state of the art in this fast-evolving industry at the CeMAT fair in Hannover, Germany. At 1,025, the number of exhibitors at this year’s fair will be slightly up on the predecessor event in 2011. This year’s show will also be highly international. Some 43 countries will be represented, and 58 percent of the exhibitors will come from outside Germany.
Apart from Germany, the biggest exhibiting nations are Italy (116), China (104), the Netherlands (41), France (32), Sweden (29), the U.S. (26), Spain (25), Belgium (22), Turkey (22) and the United Kingdom (22).

Taiwan International Screw Expo held in Gaoxiong
Taiwan International Screw Expo was held from 14 to 15, April at Gaoxiong Exhibition Center, Taiwan. There were 330 exhibitors this year, and 820 booths, which was a 50% increase from last session of two years ago. All of the exhibitors come from Taiwan, and trade visitors come from 20 countries and regions in the world. The expo displayed the whole screw manufacturing chain of Taiwan, and aimed to expand the export volume of Taiwan screws.
Taiwan has been manufacturing screws for about 50 years, and is acclaimed as a screw kingdom.
