在2006~2010年的5年中,上海要凭借举办世博会的历史机遇,把上海的旅游业打造成申城现代服务业的主体产业和国民经济的动力型产业。这个上海旅游产业发展的新定位,是最近制定的《上海“十一五”旅游发展规划》中一个引人注目的新亮点。据悉,为了实现这一战略新定位,到2010年,上海计划实现旅游总收入3300亿元人民币,接待入境游客超过900万人次,实现旅游外汇收入87亿美元,争取使旅游业增加值占上海GDP的9.5%,将上海初步建成“世界著名旅游城市”。为实现这个旅游产业新定位目标,上海将紧紧围绕“科教兴市”和大力发展现代服务业的主战略,牢牢抓住奥运和世博机遇,切实突破发展瓶颈,实现从数量型向效益型的经济增长方式的转变,全力推进旅游信息化建设,创新开发旅游产品,打造旅游诚信市场,加强城市推广,加快新一轮旅游资源整合。中心城区旅游要向
