强强联手 合办新展
近日，位于瑞典延雪平市的世界知名林业展览会主办方Elmia公司近日与瑞典最大的林场主协会之一Mellanskog达成合作，共同在瑞典中部组办三个林业展。展会的名称为MellanskogsElmia，首届展会将于2014年8月22-23日举行。Mellanskog目前有超过三万名会员，而Elmia旗下林业展在全球享有盛名。公司旗下的2011届SkogsElmia林业展迎来33，000名观众，而2013届Elmia Wood林业展观众人数突破54，000名。（于双）
英国前议员获国际会议组织委员会JMIC名人奖
国际会议组织委员会（JMIC）在11月18日宣布，英国前议会成员约翰·格林威获2013年度JMIC名人奖，以表彰格林威先生在过去十五年来不断提出建议和意见，使会议产业对面临的机会与挑战更加敏感。JMIC主席Philippe Fournier表示，“在过去，我们主要表彰业界领袖促进了会议行业内的沟通与建议，但同时我们也意识到，会议行业的发展同样归功于，甚至在更大程度上取决于政界人士的参与，他们可以帮助会议行业了解政府的运作方式，以及何种信息与沟通方式更能影响他们政府的决策。今年，格林威先生获此奖项可谓名至实归。”目前，JMIC在全球有15个会员组织，包括国际大会及会议协会（ICCA）、国际展览联盟（UFI）等。（苏希玲）
两巨头携手推出欧洲建筑机械设备展览会
巴黎国际工程机械展览会（INTERMAT）的主办方Intermat公司日前与美国国际建筑机械设备展览会（World of Concrete）签署谅解备忘录，在共同主办欧洲建筑机械展览会World of Concrete Europe。首届展会将由INTERMAT组展方法国高美爱博展览集团承办，在北维勒班展览中心举行。（苏希玲）

德国汉诺威展览中心目前积极拓张在俄罗斯的业务。继莫斯科与乌拉尔地区之后，西伯利亚成为汉诺威展览中心俄罗斯子公司Deutsche Messe RUS的第三个办事处。该办事处由汉诺威展览中心与俄罗斯克拉斯诺亚尔斯克展览管理公司共同运营，并将共同主办克拉斯诺亚尔斯克抽水设备展ClimatAquaTEx。展会将于2014年13-16日在克拉斯诺亚尔斯克国际会展中心举行。展品涵盖抽水与热能设备、供水设备、净水系统、灌溉与空气调节系统、控制与测量工具，2013年由克拉斯诺亚尔斯克展览管理公司首次举办。（苏希玲）
Elmia expands its portfolio
Elmia， J？nk？ping， the world’s leading organiser of forestry fairs， and Mellanskog， one of Sweden’s biggest associations of forest owners， are to co-organise three forestry fairs in central Sweden. The fairs will run under the name MellanskogsElmia， with the first being held August 22 to 23， 2014. Mellanskog is an association of forest owners in central Sweden numbering 32，000 members. It has organised a forestry fair called Mellanskogsm？ssan since 2006. Elmia is the world’s leading organiser of forestry fairs， with both Elmia Wood and SkogsElmia in its product portfolio. More than 54，000 visitors attended Elmia Wood 2013 and more than 33，000 came to SkogsElmia 2011. （Kelly Yu）
2013 JMIC Profile and Power Award Released
The Joint Meetings Industry Council （JMIC） announced on 18th November 2013 the winner of the 2013 JMIC Profile and Power Award as Mr. John Greenway， former UK Member of Parliament. The award was made in recognition of Mr. Greenway’s ongoing work over the past 15 years in advising and informing the Meetings Industry on the opportunities and challenges in communicating industry. "While we have in the past acknowledged many industry leaders with this award for their initiatives in communications and advocacy， we realize at the same time that our success relies to an equal or even greater extent on the support and participation of those inside the political system who can advise the industry of how governments operate and what kinds of messages and approaches are most likely to resonate with politicians"， said JMIC President Philippe Fournier. （Celion Su） Concrete for Europe
S.E. Intermat， owner and organiser of the Intermat trade shows， and Hanley Wood LLC， owner and organiser of the World of Concrete trade shows， have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to develop a new event， World of Concrete Europe. World of Concrete Europe， held at Paris Nord Villepinte， will be piloted by Comexposium， organiser of the Intermat trade shows. The next events to be held will be Intermat Middle East in Abu Dhabi from January 14 to 16， 2014 and Intermat Paris from April 20 to 25， 2015. （Celion Su）

Deutsche Messe， Hanover， is expanding its business in Russia. After Moscow and the Ural region， Siberia is the third location at which the Hanoverians are operating through their Russian subsidiary Deutsche Messe RUS. It is co-operating with Krasnoyarsk Fair Exhibition Company （CJSC）. They are jointly organising ClimatAquaTEx in the Siberia International Exhibition Centre， Krasnoyarsk， from May 13 to 16， 2014. The fair covers plumbing and heating installations， water supply， water treatment and purification systems， ventilation and air conditioning， control and measuring instruments and was first held in May 2013 by CJSC. （Celion Su）
